Santorum Skedaddles and Conservatives Sell the Cause into Communist Captivity

Conservatives-Sell-Out

DC Morning hasn’t been the same since the amazing Jim Treacher decided sleep was more important than providing us daily intelligent snark and insight.  His unworthy replacement, Jamie Weinstein, acts like a condescending Washington liberal in her coverage of people continuing to flock to Gingrich with Santorum out:

1.) What does an adult who believes in the tooth fairy sound like? -- They sound like a Newt Gingrich supporter who still thinks the former House Speaker can win the Republican nomination. TheDC's Alexis Levinson talks with Gingrich's latest endorser:
"The Daily Caller caught up with the latest politician to endorse Gingrich, Delaware State Senator Dave Lawson, whose endorsement was announced on Wednesday after Rick Santorum dropped out and the vast majority of pundits declared the race at the end. 'The race isn’t over until the votes are counted, and so I don’t believe the race is over,' Lawson told TheDC. 'I believe that Speaker Gingrich certainly has a very good crack at this nomination; I believe he certainly has the right attributes to work toward putting this country back on its feet.'"
How do they define "very good" in Delaware? It couldn't possibly be defined the same way it is in every other state.

Reportedly, Weinstein still believes that the Dallas Mavericks should have given up the Western Conference playoffs last year because no one could possibly stop the awesomeness that is the Miami in Heat also known as the Three Am Ego’s.

But ‘Communist’ PolitiJim?”

ModerateGOPLooserClub Romney is a socialist corporatist.  Human Events incorrectly labeled him a “Top 10 RINO” in 2005 LESS THAN 7 YEARS AGO. He’s much worse than a RINO having promised the gay, abortion and extreme environmentalists at one time he would be a stealth GOP candidate for their causes.  And by once again, blurring the choices between conservative and liberal values, the GOP is prepared to steal victory from the jaws of defeat.  Lynn Varvick from UCLA shows clear proof that in close elections, the “bigger” and bolder separation of ideas wins.

My quick comment on Daily Caller followed by thoughts on “fake” conservatives now giving up the race to Romney:

Great unbiased reporting Daily Caller!  I suppose you still think the long form birth certificate is real too.

What has happened to "conservative" media?  Epic fail for (electronic) rags like DC that disintegrate into establishment stereotypes.

In truth - with most Santorum delegates freed, the race is technically still VERY CLOSE in delegate count.

Forgive us if we don't just fall in line and bow to the GOP RINO pick who is only ahead because he outspends his opponents in false, negative ads - something he can't replicate in a general election.

Heritage Foundation founder Paul Weyrich was ready to BOLT the GOP if McCain took Romney as VPForgive us if we take a shot at putting someone in office who has demonstrated real government reform instead of expansion into areas of socialized medicine and gay marriage.

Or maybe you ignorant enough to believe Obama really was going to "cut taxes for the middle class" just because he said so?  Politicians always do what they say, right?

Katrina Pierson had a great comment on her radio show yesterday which was something to the effect of:

Let’s see if all those “principled”  conservatives show the integrity of still fighting against the GOP establishment that they said was so important when they were supporting Santorum, Perry or Cain

Consider this about how conservatives are acting since Santorum skedaddled:

  • National Right To Life endorses the man who not only initiated state paid abortions in RomneyCare, but got Planned Parenthood NAMED as a component of government oversight.
  • Pro-life Susan B. Anthony moved from Santorum to Romney.
  • The reliable Washington Examiner no longer has either Newt Gingrich or Ron Paul daily updates now focusing only on Romney/Obama.
  • Malkin, (David) Limbaugh and other “staunch” conservatives who couldn’t abide by Romney are already closing ranks around Romney via the fake media orchestrated Ann Romney working scandal.

The Wall Street Insider (WSI) at the Ulsterman Report explained the blueprint months ago and I had a hard time digesting it.  He said the “Pump and Dump” of these GOP candidates was COMPLETELY orchestrated by the Obama puppeteers.  Alan Keyes agrees in his column that the RINO GOP establishment was compliant in tolerating the Santorum run, knowing all along that Santorum merely would weaken the social conservative will power to anoint the Massachusetts moderate as their preselected choice.  I never bought into this because there is no way “unseen forces” could get a little old Tea Party lady in Alabama to “like” Santorum.  Polls aren’t perfect but you obscure actual VOTES, which Santorum suddenly assembled behind him.  But, with Foster Friess instantaneously jumping to Romney after predicting Santorum’s surge long before he hit the GOP charts in January – I’m much more willing to consider this.

I also had no explanation why supposedly sane conservatives like Malkin and Limbaugh would pick such an insincere supercilious Senator with such glaring socialistic union tendencies and conservative betrayals.  I’m not suggesting they were “bought,” but I also would never have believed the intelligent George Will would EVER write that the master of the Reagan Revolution was a “Marxist.”  It’s a fact that if you repeat a lie long enough, people believe it, and when Gingrich surged there was a relentless surge of even CONSERVATIVE articles spewing absolutely false stories of Gingrich’s accomplishments and conservative record.  Many like Malkin were simply too lazy or biased to do the actual research and just perpetuated the lies.

Maybe the Romney forces had been pumping this information to key “influencers” for some time as he did against Palin immediately following the McCain loss in 2008?  Just as Allen West and Paul Ryan showed an amazing lack of courage in standing up against $1 Trillion cuts to our military with the Bohener budget deal bill, our conservative media champions are more glass than granite?

He’s been orchestrating this method since 2004 combining it with payoffs to conservative groups.  As Harper’s exposed back then in their article on Mitt called, “How to Fabricate A Conservative”:

And the task of reformulating and repackaging the Romney brand—from the moderate Republican governor of the most liberal state in the Union to a red-meat social conservative and heir to Reagan—has been entrusted to an army of consultants far larger than that of any of his challengers. Campaign disclosure records are convoluted and poorly categorized, so it’s difficult to make a precise inventory. But based on filings with the Federal Election Commission, as of this summer, Romney’s campaign has employed more than a hundred different consultants, making combined payments to them of at least $11 million—roughly three times the amount spent by John McCain or Rudy Giuliani.

The article goes on to explain how they set up fake “Fred Thompson isn’t a conservative” groups, buy off key conservative grass roots campaigns and a “brand” marketing campaign you’d see for laundry detergent or motor oil.  The Boston Globe got a hold of a PowerPoint presentation that admitted he was known as a “phony” based on reality as much as perception:

Earlier this year, the Boston Globe obtained a copy of an internal campaign PowerPoint presentation that outlined Romney’s strengths and weaknesses as he embarked on his presidential bid. One page—entitled “Primal Code for Brand Romney”—explained that Romney should market himself as a foil to such Massachusetts liberals as Senators Edward Kennedy and John Kerry, and also run against such “enemies” as Hollywood, France, and “moral relativism.”…

As bad as Santorum’s wool was pulled over the eyes of social conservatives and Tea Party types, Romney’s campaign has been weaving a knit cap without eyeholes since he took office as Massachusetts Governor.  Get this: WHILE HE WAS STILL PROCLAIMING HIMSELF AS LIBERAL and IMPLEMENTING TAX PAYER ABORTION IN ROMNEYCARE, he was donating to Pro-Life and conservative groups setting up a “conservative” presidential campaign.

In seeking to woo conservatives, Romney has also used his personal PAC—the Commonwealth Political Action Committee—to contribute lavishly to several national pro-life groups, the Federalist Society, the National Review, and the Heritage Foundation, among others. In South Carolina, Romney set up a branch of the PAC all the way back in 2004. (He started branches in Iowa, New Hampshire, Michigan, and Arizona at the same time.) Since then, the state branch—with guidance from a number of consulting firms, including DC Navigators, a top Washington-based group—has run up expenditures of roughly $518,000.

No matter.  The primary is over right?  Who cares about massive Mitt voter manipulation or lies on behalf of Romney by the GOP?  That’s just politics right?  If it was good enough for Obama, it’s good enough for us?

No.  It’s called corruption.  And if you are a patriot, try looking your children in the eye when you explain why you bought “mere words” that purchased a more entrenched tyrannical socialist government that will be even harder to turn back in four years.  That is assuming we even HAVE elections in four years.

There were 3,000 that stayed with Washington in the winter of 1776 when 30,000 had left and abandoned their “dream” of freedom for the comforts of home and family.  Daily Caller, Right to Life, and the rest of conservative media who have decided to ignore the REAL battle against the GOP establishment are entitled to do as they will.  I won’t.

Here is reality:

  • Even if ObamaCare is overturned in court, the number of new departments, bureaucracies, unelectable tyranny of the courts and Federal Reserve are still in place.
  • In November, the voting public will not see ANY difference between Barack and Bain-boy on Wall Street bailouts, ObamaRomneyCare, or bringing back jobs since Romney’s record is as rickety as Barack’s.  Worse, they already think that Obama “cares” more and $1 Billion of Romney’s Bain banditry and “I don’t care about the very poor” blusters won’t better it.
  • Barack Obama has been planning to steal this election now controlling 6% of the entire voting population through George Soros controlled companies run by a known socialist who lived in Illinois when Obama was Senator and who was an Obama donor.  And he controls the lawless Department of Justice that will continue to protect him.
  • 400,000 union workers, Van Jones and thugs and countless Soros orchestrated forces have been paid off to create violence in the new wave of militant Occupy Wall Street to create chaos and bury the economic news all summer.

An insidious plot to overthrow America was started in 2008 and not only Republicans, but supposed “conservatives” still think this is just another election with the normal rules of war.  We are stuck with a Dorchester Dorothy that doesn’t understand DeMint from Dole.  And we aren’t in Kansas OR Oz anymore.

Romney has never shown an ability to war against media, against his own party’s liberal excesses (he was good at yelling against conservative Reagan policies once), or to fight for what is right when it isn’t politically expedient.  Why in the world would we choose HIM to lead us into the battle for the election much less the battle for the heart and soul of America’s Constitutional future?

This is a time for a general of media strategy and savagery.  And that is NOT Willard Mitt RINOy.

I suppose on one hand we get what we deserve.  It’s just that those who see the impending signs of tyranny think the blood of our founders deserves better.  As do our children.

I’m still fighting for, and with, the only PATRIOT left in the race, who is equipped for guerrilla media and political warfare.  God bless every REAL patriot like Delaware State Senator Dave Lawson, who is turning down the chance at Romney’s 30 pieces of silver.

I will not participate in the sellout of America.

UPDATE: This from our good friends at GulagBound quoting former Romney top campaign strategist, Mike Murphy on more of Romney’s “planned” professions to fit whatever political position he needed:

“That same article quoted his top strategist at the time, Mike Murphy, as saying Mr. Romney had been ‘a pro-life Mormon faking it as a pro-choice friendly.’” That he’s always been pro-life. He just faked being pro-choice once he was in Massachusetts. “‘Faking it?’ … Mike was suggesting that Romney intentionally misled the people of Massachusetts.”
